Pole shift hypothesis is no longer a fringe science theory: #^‘True polar wander’ may have caused ice age

Evidence from the Pacific Ocean, including the position of the Hawaiian Islands, shows Earth's latest ice age may have been caused by a shift of the planet relative to its spin axis that began within the past 12 million years and moved Greenland toward the north pole.

According to researches of independent scholars and current data about movement of magnetic poles, such catastrophic events could have occurred in a relatively recent past (less than 1000 years ago). The fact that these events did not remain in the official history is explained by geo-political reasons, in human memory - by psychological repression. But in the meantime, there is much circumstantial evidences of a likely pole shift in the past. The most illustrative examples are:
- old buildings covered with mudflow, not the cultural layer
- the difference in the orientation of the foundations of old temples and forts, from modern ones
