The lucrative business behind activist Greta Thunberg: political and energetics finance
The Swedish activist who fights against climate change has the support of large lobbies and energy companies in her country, although her family tries to deny it.
Greta Thunberg has become, in less than a year, a global icon against climate change. But her overwhelming success has been driven and promoted, according to The Sunday Times research, by large lobbies and green energy companies that would use the 16-year-old as a spearhead to "facilitate the transition to green corporatism."
The British newspaper has linked the teenager and her rising notoriety with the tycoon, Ingmar Rentzhog, president of a Think Tank (laboratory of ideas and research) of which they are members from Swedish social democratic politicians to executives of large energy companies in the country.
